If zombies are attracted to sound then wouldn’t driving the loudest Harley Davidson you can get your hands on be really fucking stupid? It’s a good thing he doesn’t use those noisy guns, you don’t want to attract any unwanted attention.

Random Number Generators →
I wrote a number generator in Python after listening to Linux Outlaws, but I wanted to write one in Objective-C since I’m learning it. Maybe useful for someone learning as well.

Apple's AppStore
Apple’s AppStore will effectively kill free software on the Mac platform just as it did on the iPhone. Can’t wait for ads on my desktop, how about you? Looks like I may have to run back to Linux, again…

Python pyGUI OS X example (wake a macintosh) →
I have started learning pyGUI, which is a GUI design library similar to GTK/QT for Python that runs on Windows, OS X, and Linux. This is my first example of a simple pyGUI Mac application, bundled, that will wake up a sleeping Macintosh with either an IP or MAC address. This is a working example with source - license is public domain…
I have a calculator just about finished as well.
For years Internet users have been simply known as ‘users’. I say it’s time for change! From now on, we should be referred to as ‘Ad Cattle’.
Long winded observation of the modern internet?
The Internet is like a vast plane of grass where users can graze freely, but sites like Facebook actually operate like cattle ranches causing users to collect into fenced and controlled environments where every cow is tagged and monitored for convenience. Why government is better than corporations - a...

Corporations are not visible, everything is behind locked doors where corruption can run unchecked. The decisions are made...

The House On The Borderland →
A great book by William Hope Hodgson. This is a fun book that has hints of The Time Machine (H. G. Wells) and A Journey To The Center Of The Earth (Jules Verne).

The world is turning into a giant library. The only difference now is that you pay to borrow.

My Hulu Plus iPhone App Review
It’s a shame, because the app is well done and the video looks great, but everyone is right Hulu, the content you have is free over the air new or has been free over the air as reruns for years!
Not only do you make money from your inserted ads, but the stinking network made money from the commercials on the broadcast before you ever got your hands on the content; not to mention the money...
