Glad I didn’t put their poison into my families bodies! They still can’t say, “we were full of shit”. No, they have to suggest it’s still not over.
I’ll bet a lot of people made a ton of money on that bullshit, from media to investors. How about the fact that tax payer dollars got coverted into investment and stock payouts for the wealthy. That’s what sucks the most! I indirectly paid for my share, which would not benefit me whether I got the shot or not.
It was simply a scam driven by fear and any fool who looked at the survival vs death statistics should have cried foul as I did.
I miss drinking soda from a bottle and taking it back to the store for the deposit. I miss hitting the ketchup bottle when the ketchup got stuck at the restaurant. Where are the glass Peanut Butter jars I used to hold Fireflies captive in on a warm summer night?
I miss the the brown paper bags that actually held your groceries and pulling the dent from the steel side panel on my car after a minor accident. I miss real wood furniture, writing checks, and wool blankets.
I miss the family run gas station that would repair a flat, tow your car and repair it, as well as fill it up. You ask how to change the oil and they not only told you how, they got you the filter and oil while they did so.
I miss walking to the family hardware or grocery at the top of my street. I miss the note my parents sent with me on occasion when they needed a six pack or pack of smokes. You will never see a seven year old buying these things for his parents these days!
I miss the cleaner air, safer seafood, and a reason to collect disgarded soda bottles for a little pocket change. I miss the hard working American who had value to his employer and his healthier children who used the products their parents made.
More than anything I miss the humanity, the common sense, the trust, and the pride. Is this what you get when you switch to plastic?
